About a week ago, a large green hummingbird flew up to our empty feeder. He made several attempts to eat. We filled the feeder and he came back briefly. Yesterday, another one came up to our now filled feeder and stayed around for a few minutes, filling up. He was also green, larger than the Rufies we usually get. We rarely see hummers other than the Rufus, so it was exciting to see!
