I raise and release Monarchs during the year and have not seen as many as I normally would see this year. In the past couple of days I have seen one or two and then yesterday as I was heading home and sitting at a stop light, I saw one lone Monarch fluttering around near flowers on the side of the road. I always look but I didn't see any others anywhere around.
