Our kindergarten students spent the week preparing for the tulip planting. We dissected a tulip bulb, took a hike around our school property to determine the perfect planting site, and completed the planting per your instructions. We also did an experimental garden with each child choosing how they would plant an additional tulip bulb. The children also participated in shared writing, journaling, and interactive writing about each step of the process. The children are very excited about this experiment and look forward to the continued observation.
