Roadsides & fields were abundant with big beautiful milkweed plants this year. More than I have ever seen. Monarch's were everwhere we went throughout the state of Wisconsin from May to October. I wish we could get milkweed to grow in our flower gardens. We have tried purchased seeds, seeds taken from the field milkweeds, refrigerating them & digging them up from the fields & transplanting them. No luck.
