Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/02/2008

Number: 200

I have been seeing a few Monarchs fluttering around for about a week now. Yesterday (10/02/08) I visited their favorite roost in the northeast corner of town. I saw a small number, maybe 200, on the trees in this area. We had a small insignificant cold front that lowered the temperature a few degrees, come in Monday night. We are anxiously awaiting our special "guests" arrival for the "Peak" migration through our town. We are watching!
