Our 3rd grade class has been eating outside for a week waiting to see migration. Today in 30 minutes we tallied 12 monarchs slowly soaring south over our heads. This was the first day we have seen amounts in double digits. There was a mild southern breeze and the monarchs flew about 6o feet above the ground.
