Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/03/2008

Number: 50

6pm. Monarchs, maybe 50 confirmed, settling for night on an urban 2 acres still virtually undeveloped and lots of trees. Adjacent to a golf course, Cooper St. north of I30. Due to density of trees and urban property lines could not check adjacent trees beyond this location. In 2007 similar nos. observed on Oct. 13 at this same place.
