Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/05/2008

Number: 1

10 to 15 Monarchs were observed feeding at my butterfly bush this afternoon. Being an avid gardener, I was taking a stroll around the yard and stopped at the bush when I noticed a couple of monarchs. As I took a closer look, I noticed that it was covered with them. More than I've had before. Some of them took flight, fluttered above it for a minute or two then, returned to the bush for another sip of nectar. It was quite a thrilling site.
