Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/03/2008

Number: 1

Not only were 3 of the 4 Monarchs from yesterday visible on the milkweed this morning, but, many Monarchs seen all over town today in all neighborhoods on the east side of town, central and west side. Most were flying westerly.
Some were seen nectaring in the central downtown area and near the train
station:-)

I'll know more about the thirsty ones that have been hanging out here in the morning. The weather was sunny and cool, 67 degrees at 8:55 p.m. (now) with clear skies. This is our best flower season for nectar and all insects are getting their fill, as well as the hummingbirds, spiders and lizards.

No humidity, the best month of every year is here with us now!
