Signs of Fall

Date: 10/07/2008

Number: 1

A flock of robins and cedar waxwings have moved into the neighborhood. They will be feasting on the orange apples on our flowering crabtree. The squirrels and a chipmunk are busy collecting nuts. Our green ash usually is bare by this time but this year it is late. The leaves are falling steadily now. The tops of the sugar maples are now red. The squirrels have quite bushy tails this year.
