Right after sundown we saw dozens of monarchs landing in the cypress trees on Tranquility Island in Louise Hays Park in Kerrville. They were coming from the north but then moving in somewhat circular patterns between the rows of trees, so it was hard to get a good count. I will go back early in the morning to try to get photos.
