My grade Primary class planted 24 red emperor tulips on this sunny, cool afternoon. Lunenburg Academy has been a public school for 113 years and we are located on a windy hill overlooking the wharf where the Bluenose II is docked. We are in a UNESCO World Heritage site so are happy to report when Spring arrives in this part of the world! We will plant 24 more bulbs in another bed in about 10 days. We want to see if they will appear ten days later than the first planting.
