Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/04/2008

Number: 1

Last Saturday on a sunny morning, temps in the 70's, between 8:30 and 9:30 noticed about 30 monarchs coming across the soccer fields. Did not find a roost, but did find their breakfast site! Abundant wildflowers in a "valley" on their SW route- ageratum, asters, goldenrod. Most I've ever seen in a hour.
