We starting seeing one or two monarchs yesterday and this morning we were seeing a dozen or more everytime we went out.There is no milkweed blooming though due to drought conditions in area? Will they keep going? We observed monarchs flying low over Hwy 306 and FM 2673. We also sighted monarchs at the Hidden Valley sports Park and Canyon Lake Dam areas. But no milkwweed is blooming anywhere in these areas. It was abundant during spring migration but is non existent now.
