We are a homeschool - kindergarten and preschool. We have planted Michigan native plants for butterflies. We raised a monarch this year. It was a female and we named her Lumina. We gathered butterfly weed seeds and planted them in pots to grow next year. We will also do that for the common milkweed plant. We also spread some seeds in the wind to and are learning a milkweed song.
