Came upon a roost in a oak tree/bramble bush thicket. Time of day was about 6:00PM. Estimate about 200 to 300 Monarchs bedding down for the night. Location was in the Hall Valley area of western San Saba County. Light wind out of the Southeast and it was a cloudy day.
