Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/12/2008

Number: 2000

I friend of mine who helps with MLMP@CNC was at Dolan Falls for a couple
of days with Bill C of the Nature Conservancy.
He said there were 1000's of monarch, some on directional flight, some
just hanging out nectaring.
He saw big clusters roosting in the oaks and along the creek in
sycamores.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 2000 monarchs based on observer’s estimate of “thousands.”
