We found a monarch chrysalis on the ground on a Friday. We taped the chrysalis onto the tip of a pencil and leaned it up in a basket, so it was like a branch. On the next Tuesday it had hatched in our classroom. We let it go that afternoon.
Take care of the butterflies, please!
