Ms. Salva's, Ms. Jones', Ms. DeRousselle's, Ms. Sandoval's and Mr. Rios' 4th grade classes mailed off our 100 butterflies on Saturday Oct. 11th. Our students have Monarch caterpillars in our classroom and we are all learning so much about their life cycle, their habitat and migration. One student wrote "me gusta porque podemos compartir proyectos con otros países y ser amigos. Mi mariposa tiene la bandera en el medio y en los lados lleva dibujos. Espero que los estudiantes de México disfruten de nuestras mariposas." (I like this project because we get to share it with another country and become friends. My butterfly has a flag in the middle and some drawings on the wings. I hope the students in Mexico enjoy our butterflies.
