Hello from San Diego! We are excited to have our Monarchs migrate to Mexico! We planted milkweed in the Spring and the Monarchs have been laying eggs on them! The eggs hatched and there are lots of big colorful green-yellow and black striped caterpillars eating away! SOme of them wandered off and got returned by students all over the campus! 7 have turned into chrysalids and we are waiting to watch the butterflies emerge in a few weeks. We were wondering if these Monarchs will go to Mexico or stay in California. Thank you for taking care of our Monarchs until the Spring!
Hola desde San Diego! Estamos muy entusiasmados con nuestro Reyes emigrar a Mexico! Hemos sembrada milkweed en la primavera y los Reyes han sido los huevos, por la que se les! Los huevos incubados y hay muchos de los grandes de colores verde-amarillo y negro a rayas orugas comer fuera! Algunos de ellos vagaban fuera y tengo devueltos por los estudiantes en todo el campus! 7 se han convertido en chrysalids y estamos esperando a ver las mariposas emergen en un par de semanas. Nos preguntamos si estos Reyes irá a Mexico o de estancia en California. Gracias por cuidar de nuestros Reyes hasta la primavera!
