Yesterday I counted 196 on my commute home of about 15 miles. The majority were flying quite high, making them harder to notice. Since I was driving, I could only count when I was stopped so there must have been hundreds and hundreds more. A cold front came through last night and I thought they would be gone this morning (Oct. 16) but at noon I counted 8 more. Not like yesterday. My friends think I'm nuts, but I wait for this with anticipation every year.
