On Friday the Cedar Park third grade classes planted 89 tulips in our Panther Pride Tulip Garden. We had sunny to partly cloudy skies and the temperature was a warm 72 degrees. On Sunday we covered our gardens with chicken netting to protect our tulips from our naughty squirrels. A few students reported hitting tree roots as they dug. Kids also reported lots of earthworms in the soil.
