Our students are observing a plant each month throughout the year. It was sunny and 73 degrees when we went out. Caitlin and Sophie noticed the honeysuckle had soft green leaves. Lucas and Jacob noticed the branches were skinny. Savannah and Cole noticed the pine tree had broken branches. Charlie and Laura saw the pokeweed had berries and holes in the leaves. Alexandra and Keyaira saw the sweet cherry had green leaves and yellow and red berries. Margo and Casey saw little yellow flowers. Brian and Julia saw the white mulberry tree had green leaves. Aaron and Erin saw it had berries. Jupiter and Kylee saw the sweet cherry tree lost some leaves. Elly and Will saw the black walnut tree had green balls on the end of the brances.
