We planted 17 Red Emperor Tulip bulbs today. They will be underground until spring. Each tulip has a colored stick with our names, so we'll know which is which. We planted them in a grid. We saved some space in our garden for our class time capsule. We are also each bringing home a tulip bulb to plant at home. The leftover bulbs will be "What If?" bulbs. We will try some experiments with them, like plant one upside down, etc.
