Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/02/2008

Number: 1

Our summer "regulars" left around September 26th and I thought for sure our wonderful summer enjoyment of watching them was through. But, low and behold around the 30th a lone migrator showed up at our feeder. She appeared to really enjoy being the only one visiting, often spending several minutes just sitting on the shepherds hook that holds the feeder. But after 2 days she decided to continue her long journey. Hopefully she will return in the spring on her next journey north!
