The junior master gardener students (4th, 5th & 6th graders) at James Monroe Elementary School in Wyandotte, Michigan planted 100 Red Emperor Tulips on October 20th and 21st. It was a warm sunny day with a high temperature of 66 degrees and a low temperature of 46 degrees. We have made predictions as to when our tulips will emerge and bloom. It will be exciting to follow the map to see when tulips emerge and bloom at schools in other areas.
