Two of our fourth grade classes planted tulips this week around the two tall trees in front of school. We live in New York City, so we can only plant around the tree beds in the sidewalk. On Monday, the first class planted in tulips in weather that was warm and sunny, just right for planting. On Tuesday it poured and poured in New York City. It actually snowed in some nearby towns! The second class planted on Wednesday in a cool drizzle. We can't wait to experience what the weather will bring from now until springtime!
