Our sixth grade students planted 46 Red Emperor tulip bulbs in the front lawn of our school. We used the planting rubric to select our garden location, which does receive full sunlight. We also followed the planting guidelines for planting the bulbs. The students created original planting designs and they voted to select the final garden design; when the tulips bloom, the pattern will spell the word WELLS.
