This is our second year planting tulips at the Squirrel Nut Community Garden in Cambridge, Ma. Our beautification of this public space made community members so happy that we were invited to continue using the showcase space in the garden and our first through fourth graders were given one additional plot . The kids began a butterfly garden. We witnessed a returning monarch and released our own monarchs from this space. Thanks for the inspiration to give city kids this connection to nature and life cycles!
