Tulips PLANTED

Date: 10/31/2008

Number: 1

Our garden was hand dug by a few parents and teachers. It is a small patch next to the playground that met all of the tulip experiment requirements. On one side, the tulips were all planted 4 inches apart and 7 inches deep. On the other side of the garden they were planted at different depths and in groups of three. Now we will be able to conduct our own experiment. Some of the predictions about the 'non-Journey North' tulips were: The tulips won't come up. They may be smaller than the others. They may be shorter.

Oh and on a side note, we had to work around a freak snowstorm. Next year, EARLY October will be a much better time!
