Northview's fifth grade planted over 100 tulip bulbs from October 28-30. All three days were sunny. The temperatures ranged from 50-60 degrees. My two classes planted theirs in individual holes, while Mrs. Smigel's three classes planted theirs together in large dugout trenches to save time as our soil is heavy and can be difficult to dig. We marked all the bulbs with popsicle sticks.
