The Emperor Tulips were planted at the school entrance in two brick flower boxes which will be maintained by the "Little Sprouts" a 4-H Junior Master Gardener After School club. The day was beautiful fall day with the temperature in the upper 50's and the sky was clear with little wind. The ground was prepared with a dozen bulbs planted in each of the two brick planters, The Sprouts also planted and maintain a school butterfly garden which also has other spring flowering bulbs planted among perennial plants which attract butterflies.
