A junior high student here in Monticello (southeast corner of the state) caught a monarch with a tag on it today during lunch recess at his school.
The monarch was released after he copied down the tag number. The number is LPR 484. If anyone knows the tagger of this monarch, please send me some information that I can pass on to this student. He has reported it to the Univ. of Kansas.

Information I received from the Monarch Watch office indicates that the tag was sold to a school in or near Maple Grove, MN. If anyone has additional information about the tag, I would appreciate hearing from you.
