Because our school has limited open spaces we have planted four groups of 5 tulips that reflect different microclimates. One is exposed to the south and relatively dry and warm area. One is exposed to the north and is relatively damp and cool most of the time. One is on the east and is very close to the building. The last is on the east with a large overhang that makes very little grow there. We will monitor whether the wet or dry conditions influence the tulips growth.
