My class took in 1 monarch caterpillar that they found under the American Flag outside. We created a growth chart and it grew 1.5 cm in one day. 9 days later, it is j form today. While feeding th milkweed to it, my students noticed more 'babies' on the leaves. We now have 5. We released 2 Spicewbush Swallowtail on 11/14.
