Today, November 17, 2008, the Montessori classes of Ms. Orbos and Ms. Sinopoli planted 100 Red Emperor tulip bulbs as part of the Journey North Tulip Project. This is our third year to participate in this project. Aside from joining other schools in North America to predict the coming of spring,this is also a beautification project of our school's Green Team. As Maria Montessori said: " The land is where our roots are. The children must be taught to feel and live in harmony with the Earth." The Tulip Project supports the Montessori philosophy.
