Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/05/2008

Number: 1

There were worms and spiders out there. It was warm and sunny when we were planting our tulips. The dirt was hard. You had to dig with all your muscles. You had to push on the planter to release the dirt. The dirt was thick and brown. We found old tulip bulbs in the dirt. We threw them out after we studied them. We put our names onto a popsicle stick and put it in the ground so we could know which one was our tulip. We took a picture of us planting the tulips. We have been observing our tulips and recording it in our science journal.
