Our class planted 22 tulip bulbs today 11/17/08. We were careful to follow all instructions about the depth and placement of the bulbs. All holes were 7" deep and 4" apart. The bulbs were placed in the holes with the flat part down. We planted along a fence line which receives at least 6 hours of sunlight a day on our school property. We are all so excited about tucking them in for their long winter's nap and seeing them as they emerge in the spring!
