Signs of Fall

Date: 11/26/2008

Number: 1

Our meter stick measured at noon cast a shadow that was 98 inches! (we missed the measurement on the 22nd because a the weekend and it was cloudy/rainy the other days).
The tree we are monitoring (California Silver Oak) has lost almost all its leaves. Those remaining are very brown & dry.
Most of the deciduous trees in our area have lost most of their leaves.
Our Oregon rain is more frequent and colder!
