I was walking down a barranca in Ventura and one monarch seemed to follow me for about 5 seconds as I saw it's shadow. Then it flew into my range of vision within about 10 feet of me for about five seconds. It then flew off to meet another Monarch a little further away. Because of personal reasons, this had special meaning to me and I'm wondering if Monarch sightings are to be expected in our area at this time. I'd love to know and may log back into this site again.
