We have been studying monarchs for over 4 years. We have raised them (we find wild eggs and larva) and set them free to migrate (and tagged their wings), taught others about them, and this year we are planting milkweed stations to improve their habitat. The milkweed in our region seems to be disappearing.

Las crecemos (despues de encontrarlas como los huevos o las orugas), las libertamos para migrarse, pusimos unas etiquetas adhesivas con números a sus alas, enseñmos a otros niños acerca de las mariposas, y este año plantamos más asclepias en grupos para mejorar el hábitat. Aquí las asclepias están desapareciendo.
