We planted our tulip bulbs on the south east side of the high school campus. We planted the bulbs in the school's memorial garden which is close to the building. We took surface temperature reading of various spots around the campus. The area in which we planted the bulbs read -1.6 to -4 degrees celcius. This temperature range was about the same for around the campus. One study group place coffee grounds with their bulb to see if this will influence growth in a positive way.
