It was a sunny, but cold afternoon when the Wolf and Bear Pack of Douglas MacArthur Elementary School met to plant our bulbs. The Wolves first examined our bulbs and then drew pictures of them and described them in our log. The cubs then passed around a bulb that had been cut in half and identified the parts and wrote down what it reminded them of. Several of the parents helped their sons with the activity. We then joined the Bear cubs outside for the actual planting. We are looking forward to their emergence.
