Tulips PLANTED

Date: 12/08/2008

Number: 1

This report is by part of our second grade class. Our group is the Chocolate Frogs. The weather in Seattle has been rainy, windy, cool (40-50 degrees F) and moist. The temperature this morning is about 43 degrees F. In our Journey North tulip beds the weeds are starting to grow and the soil is moist. None of the tulips have popped out of the ground yet. Some of the other bulbs we planted have sprouted, and others have been dug up, and are white... We think the squirrels or some cats might have done this. We hope our tulips will survive.
