Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 12/11/2008

Number: 1

It started snowing this morning, December 11, 2008, about 7:30 AM in Picayune, MS. A couple of hours later we noticed hundreds of birds flying over and past our house (East to West). This went on for some time. I looked through my binoculars and saw that they were Robins. We usually see a few Robins that stay in our area (in the Spring). I thought this was ususual until I read information about winter migrations on this website. I was still amazed at the numbers of birds flying over our house.
