All tulips were in by Friday, October 17, 2008. We planted 200 bulbs and added some hyacinths(large blue ones and grape varieties), daffodils, and narcissus to our spring garden spaces for a total of about 800 bulbs planted. The students were eager to get into the dirt and plant something at first, but were glad to see the bottoms of the bags of bulbs. When the first buds peek through in the spring, it's always nice to see their enthusiasm for gardening blossom again, too.
