Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/09/2009

Number: 1

I just went outside to grab a cup of coffee. There are dozens of American Robins outside singing together and eating red berries off a tree that I cannot recall at the moment. I found it unusual that so many Robins would be together feeding (not like there more solitary habits in spring and summer), and that they would be just outside the West Loop of Chicago in early January right after a snow storm! It seems to me that this is an unusual migratory pattern.
