We live in am area of mixed hardwoods and evergreens, on the high bank of small trout stream. Currently we are in the midst of a rather strong cold spell so we were surprised to see several robins fly into the yard to inspect our feeders. They lingered for a good 15 minutes. We think they were drinking from the stream and perhaps feeding on wild berries. They were quite active, and vocal.
