The peak number of monarchs that occurred here this season was 5,428 recorded the week of November 16. All winter long they clustered on Blue Gum Eucalyptus, which was the sole source of nectar when the euc flowers started blooming in January or so.

One wave of dispersal around Christmas when #s dropped from 5000 to under 1000, final dispersal of the last few hundred monarchs occurred between Feb 12 & Feb 19
