October 31; We live on one acre in Texas. A few days before this, (approx. 10/27) my husband saw hundreds or maybe thousands of Monarch butterflies in trees of the vacant property next to ours. We are right now (1/28)watching the special on KERA in the Dallas area about their migration and thought you might want to know abpit a place in Texas they passed through. They were here (or maybe different ones of them) about a week or so. They were beautiful! I tried to take pictures, but could not manage to get any. We will definitely look for them again next year and get pictures for sure!
